| Bending Branch is a small family operated vineyard and winery in Comfort. As a family we are passionate about sustainability in our viticulture as well as winemaking. Bending Branch is currently growing twelve very interesting varieties. Bending Branch's wine and viticulture program is focused around the Tannat grape. The Tannat grape is a black variety, bold in flavor, hardy in nature and a multi century hidden treasure, making it a perfect metaphor for the Texas Hill Country. We will also be offering several other wines in our two brand lines, Bending Branch and 1840 to be released this summer . Wines like a beautifully crisp and fruitful white variety, Picpoul blanc.
