Free Listing:

Any tourism attraction within the Highland Lakes and Texas Hill Country shall be entitled to a free listing. Free listings are strictly text, which includes the business name, address, contact information, hours of operations, and a description of the business (maximum of 256 Characters).

Paid Advertisements:

The pricing of paid advertisements listed below is based on customer providing a verifiable, reciprocal link back to the www.lakesandhills.com website. If the customer does not have a website or chooses not to participate in the link back, Lakes & Hills Publication will charge an additional $10/mo. fee for each advertisement.

Featured Listing:

Any qualified tourism attraction with a Free Listing is entitled to upgrade that listing to a Featured Listing. Featured Listings include the business name, address, contact information, hours of operations, a description of the business (maximum of 256 characters) and a link to the advertiser’s website.

Any qualified tourism attraction with a Free Listing is entitled to upgrade that listing to a Graphic/Display Ad (size, shape and resolution restrictions apply). You can provide a camera ready ad (see ad specifications) or we can provide, at no charge, our basic Display Ad which includes the business name, address, contact information, hours of operations, a description of the business (maximum of 256 characters), a 150X100 pixel image and a link to your website.   Another option is a Graphical Display Ad, which includes your basic contact information, tag line and a grapic advertisement, 600X180 pixels maximum.    These ads are designed to insure your business stands out in the directory from all of the free and featured listings on that page.

For non-tourism related businesses within the Highland Lakes and Texas Hill Country and for qualified tourism attractions within the region who wish to advertise on other directory pages where they are not entitled to free listings, we offer various Display Advertising opportunities.   Sidebar Ads run vertically down the sides of the page and measure 150X180 pixels in size.

Each sidebar ad is linked to a referring page which transfers the visitor to your business website.  This invisible client page provides a count of the number of click-throughs, providing a measurement of the effectiveness of your advertising.

Coupon Ad Pricing Policy:

Only advertisers who have purchased a Display/Graphic or Sidebar Ad are eligible for the "coupon" offering.

A special "Coupon" page has been established which will allow existing customers to advertise their business with a printable "virtual" coupon. Space will be provided to display the businesses’ graphic logo, and the coupon will be displayed in a standard frame for all advertisers. The price for each coupon includes up to four edits or coupon replacements per year.

Each coupon is linked to a Printable Coupon page, with an enlarged copy of the graphical coupon.  The coupon page provides a count of the number of visitors, providing a measurement of the effectiveness of your advertising.

General Terms and Conditions:

All advertising is for a term of 12 months.

Advertising fees are payable in advance by cash, check or credit card. Advertising may be paid for monthly by authorized, automatic debit of credit card or checking account.

All advertising, including Feature, Display, Sidebar, and Attraction Link are subject to a verifiable, reciprocal link back to www.lakesandhills.com, otherwise an additional $10/mo/ad fee will be charged on the account.

Upon request, we can design a graphic ad at our standard rate of $75 per hour.  Fees associated with graphics work for display ads, sidebar ads are due and payable at the time the work is performed.
